Adolf Hitler - Man Of The Year

In January 1939, the Man Of The Year edition of Time Magazine was released and the award was given to The Nazi leader for the things he had done over the previous 12 months 'for better or for worse'.

In September 1938, four of the biggest statesmen of Europe met in Berlin to redraw the map of Europe. The stronger power at this meeting being the German host. He was applauded by the magazine for what he had done for his country to secure its future as a dominant force. He destroyed the Treaty Of Versailles and armed his country for war.

He threatened war by take over the Czechoslovakian capital of Prague to start his planned global conquest.

Although what he set out to do was controversial, the people who followed him believed he would give a brighter tomorrow.
